# Pebble 0.2.49

For Mac (Apple silicon), Linux x64 and Windows (x64 and Arm64).

- Bots answer first: they reply in a line, then hand longer research to helpers. A quiet "Checking…" row shows while a helper works. If you'd rather a bot do long work itself, there is a switch in Bot settings › Advanced.
- Saved logins now has its own panel in the header.
- Connector sign-in happens on your own device.
- Pebble finds your Hermes address by itself, remembers it, and falls back if it changes.
- You can sign in with an email code inside the app.
- Old leftovers from earlier Mac updates are cleaned up when Pebble starts.
- Bots use Hermes's own browser, never your Chrome.
- The sidebar tooltip shows just the bot's name.
- A red Stop button.
- Folded steps read better, and the "N messages with…" footnote is gone.
- Bot settings: Advanced is last and tinted, and the Work style slider is gone.

Install
- Open the DMG and drag Pebble to Applications. Pebble 0.2.22 and later update themselves; older versions download this DMG once.

The Mac file is signed and notarized by Apple. Check your download against SHA256SUMS.txt before you open it.

Linux (x64) 0.2.49
- Same Pebble 0.2.49 as the Mac version, as an unsigned package. Existing Linux installs do not update to it on their own yet.
- Debian or Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./pebble_0.2.49_amd64.deb
- Portable archive: tar -xzf pebble-0.2.49-linux-x64.tar.gz, then run the pebble program inside the extracted folder.
- Check the download first: shasum -a 256 <file> must match SHA256SUMS.txt.

Windows 0.2.49 (x64 and Arm64)
- Same Pebble 0.2.49 as the Mac version, as an unsigned installer. Existing Windows installs do not update to it on their own yet.
- Run pebble-0.2.49-windows-x64.exe on most PCs, or pebble-0.2.49-windows-arm64.exe on Arm PCs. If Windows shows a warning, choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Check the download first: the SHA-256 must match SHA256SUMS.txt.
